AI video dubbing, with a voice close to each speaker's

Paste a YouTube link or upload a video of up to 10 minutes and choose a language: Muvomi says every line again in it, each speaker in a voice close to their own, over the video's own music and sound, with captions in the new language. 92 languages, 13 of them Indian.

A video of two people talking plays in English with its captions. Dub video is pressed with To set to Telugu: the speech is heard, then voiced again speaker by speaker while the lane of music and sound under it stays as it was, and the same video plays dubbed, its captions now in Telugu script. The Original voice switch stays off, marked Coming soon.

What AI Dubbing can do

  • A YouTube link or a file

Paste the address of one YouTube video, or attach a video file of up to 1 GB (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV or M4V). It can be up to 10 minutes long.

  • The spoken language found by listening

From starts on Auto-detect: the speech is heard and its language found, and the result says which it was. If you know the language, choose it yourself.

  • 92 languages to dub into

Choose To from 92 languages: 13 Indian ones (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Assamese, Dogri, Nepali, Sindhi and Urdu), Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese and many more.

  • A voice close to each speaker's

The speakers are told apart and each is given a new voice close to their own, so two people talking still sound like two different people. If no near voice can be made for someone, a stand-in voice reads their lines and the result tells you so.

  • The music and sound kept

Only the speech is replaced. The music, the room and the sound effects under it stay as they were, and the picture is the original's.

  • Timed to the picture

Each new line is placed where the original line was said, so the speech still meets the cuts and the moments it belongs to.

  • Captions in the new language

The dub comes with subtitles in the new language's own script. Download them as SRT or VTT, or open the video in the editor, where they come along as captions at no extra cost.

  • Into the video editor

Open a finished dub in the video editor to trim it, give its captions a look, add music or export it at another size.

How AI Dubbing works

  4. Watch, download or edit

Play the dub and switch its sound between Dubbed and Original to compare. Download the video or its subtitles, or open it in the video editor.

AI video dubbing questions, answered

What does AI video dubbing do?

It says what is spoken in a video again in another language. Give it a YouTube link or a file, choose one of 92 languages, and each speaker's lines are written and voiced in it, in a voice close to theirs, over the video's own music and sound. You get the dubbed video and its subtitles.

Which languages can a video be dubbed into?

92: 13 Indian languages (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Assamese, Dogri, Nepali, Sindhi and Urdu) and 79 more, from Spanish, French, German and Portuguese to Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Swahili and Zulu. The language a video is in can be chosen from the same list, or found by listening.

Can a video be dubbed into Bengali or Odia?

Not yet. Bengali and Odia are not on the list of languages: a video can't be dubbed into them, and a video spoken in them can't be dubbed yet either.

Does a dub keep each speaker's own voice?

Not yet. Each speaker is given a new voice close to their own, not their own voice. An option that keeps each speaker's own voice is coming: in the studio it is the Original voice switch, shown switched off.

Is the background music kept?

Yes. Only the speech is replaced: the music, the room sound and the effects under it stay as they were, and the new voices are laid over them.

Can I dub a YouTube video?

Yes, one video at a time: paste its address, not a playlist's. You tick that you own the video or have the rights to dub it, and that the people who speak in it may be dubbed; the tick is kept with the dub. A video that cannot be fetched from a link can be downloaded and attached as a file instead, if you have the rights.

How long can the video be?

Up to 10 minutes and 1 GB, with sound. Split a longer video into parts and dub each.

How many credits does dubbing use?

600 credits for every minute of video started, so a 90-second video is 1,200 credits and a 10-minute one 6,000 credits. The exact price is shown before you press Dub video, and a dub that fails or is cancelled gives its credits back. The Free plan's 200 credits a month do not cover a minute of dubbing; Starter's 2,000 credits cover 3 minutes.

What does dubbing not do?

It does not change anyone's lip movements, and you cannot read or change the new lines before they are voiced. Each dub is one language: dub the video again for another.
