Video projects, saved as you work and ready to reopen

Your video projects are saved as you work: films, timeline edits and designs in one list. Search and sort them, file them in folders, and reopen any one in the editor it was made in.

Films, edits and graphics gather into folders, and one opens as it was saved.

What Projects can do

  • Saved without a save button

A save starts within a second of every change, with nothing to press. The video editor and Design Studio show Saving, Saved or Not saved, so you can see where the work stands.

  • Films, edits and designs in one list

The list holds AI films, AI shorts, template films, timeline edits and graphics from Design Studio. Each card shows a preview, its kind and the day it last changed.

  • Opens where it was made

A film from the AI Product Director comes back with its conversation. A short opens in the Shorts editor, a template film in its template, an edit on its timeline and a graphic in Design Studio.

  • Search, filter and sort

Type a name or a tag to search. Show only video edits, designs or films. Sort by last updated, oldest first or name, as a grid or a list.

  • Folders, stars and an archive

File projects in folders, star the ones in progress and archive the finished. Select up to 100 to move, star or archive at once.

  • A review status on each project

Mark a project Draft, Ready for review or Approved. The status sits on its card beside its first three tags.

  • Rename, duplicate, back up

Edits and designs can be renamed, duplicated as a copy and downloaded as a backup file. Import backup brings a file of up to 4 MB back as a new project.

  • Version history for edits

The video editor lists its saved versions with the time of each, newest first, 50 at most. Restoring one makes a new version, so the earlier ones stay available.

  • Will not overwrite newer work

If an edit or a design was saved somewhere else since you opened it, your older copy is stopped from writing over it. You are offered the newer version, or a copy of yours.

How Projects work

  1. Make something

Start a film, a short, an edit or a design anywhere in the studio. It becomes a project the first time it is saved.

  2. Find it under Projects

Open Projects for the whole list, or pick one of the six most recent from the sidebar.

  3. Organise as the list grows

Add tags, move projects into folders and set a review status from the menu on each card.

  4. Reopen and carry on

Press a card. The project opens in its own editor with its media, words and settings as you left them.

  5. Export or back up

Render the video from its editor and download the MP4. Or download a backup of an edit or a design to keep outside Muvomi.

Who Projects are for

  • Creators on a weekly schedule

Keep next week's film as a draft and last week's as approved, and find either by name.

  • Freelancers and agencies

One folder a client, a tag for each campaign, and a status that says which cut is waiting for a yes.

  • Marketers who reuse a format

Duplicate last month's edit, swap the footage and the words, and export the new one without rebuilding the timeline.

  • Anyone who works in more than one sitting

Close the tab mid-thought. Tomorrow the project is in the list, and an AI Product Director film still has the conversation that made it.

  • Careful editors

Download a backup before a big change, or lean on the version list to step back.

Video projects questions, answered

Where are my video projects kept?

In your Muvomi account, not in your browser. Sign in on another computer and the same list is there.

Do I need to save my work?

No. Saving begins within a second of each change, by itself. If an edit or a design cannot be saved, its editor says Not saved and offers a backup to download.

Can I go back to an earlier version?

For a timeline edit, yes: the video editor lists up to 50 saved versions and restores any of them. A design has 40 steps of undo while it is open. Films and designs have no list of versions.

Can I delete a project?

There is no delete button under Projects. Archiving takes a project out of your lists, and it can be restored from Archive.

Does re-exporting a project use credits?

No. Exporting and rendering are free, as often as you like; opening, editing and saving are too. Credits pay for what the AI makes. Free gives 200 credits a month, and paid plans run from 2,000 credits for $10 a month to 20,000 credits for $100.

Can I share a project or work on it with someone else?

No. A project belongs to one account. There are no shared folders, comments or links to a project, and the review status is a label for your own tracking. To hand work over, send the exported MP4 or PNG.

Can I move a project to another account?

Not with a backup. A backup holds the project and points to media in your own library; it does not carry the files. It is a safety copy for the account that made it.

How many projects can I keep?

There is no fixed count today. Lists load a page at a time, and a workspace can organise up to 10,000 items into as many as 250 folders.
