In short
- We keep what you need to use Muvomi: your email address, your work, your files, your credits and your plan.
- When you start a piece of AI work, what that work needs (your words, pictures, sound or video) is sent to the AI provider that does it. Nothing is sent before you start.
- We do not sell your data, we show no advertising, and we do not use your work to train AI models.
- The only cookie we set keeps you signed in. There is no analytics or advertising tracking.
- Card payments go through our payment processor. Muvomi never sees your card number.
- Write to support@muvomi.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
1. Who we are
Muvomi is an AI creative studio that runs in the browser at muvomi.com. In this policy, “Muvomi”, “we” and “us” mean the service and the people who run it, and “you” means anyone who visits the site or has an account.
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who else handles it and what you can do about it. It goes with our Terms and Conditions. If anything here is unclear, write to support@muvomi.com.
2. What we collect
We collect only what the service needs in order to work, and most of it is what you give us yourself.
- Your account
- Your email address and your password. The password is kept by our sign-in service in a scrambled (hashed) form that nobody at Muvomi can read. When you create an account we also record that you agreed to these documents, when you did and which version you agreed to.
- Sign-in records
- When you sign in, the sign-in service records the time and the network (IP) address and browser the sign-in came from, to keep accounts safe.
- Your work
- What you make and keep in the studio: projects, edits, designs, films, shorts, dubs, captions, voiceovers, brand kits, saved prompts and export settings, the requests you send to the AI tools and the chats you have with them, and earlier versions of your work so that you can go back to them.
- Your files
- The pictures, videos, sound and fonts you upload, and the files the tools make for you: pictures, videos, voices, music, captions and exports.
- Websites you name
- When you ask a tool to read a website (to make a film, a design or a brand kit from it), our servers fetch the public page and keep what the work used from it, such as words, colours, logos and pictures.
- Your first answers
- If you answer the studio's first questions (what you make, what interests you, your websites), we keep the answers to suggest where to start. You can skip them.
- Credits and plan
- Your plan, the credits you are given and spend each month, and a history of every charge, refund and grant, so that the numbers on your account page can always be checked.
- Billing
- If you subscribe, our payment processor runs the checkout. It gives us a customer number, a subscription number, your plan, the subscription's status and its billing dates, and we give it your email address. Your card details go to the payment processor directly: Muvomi never receives or stores your card number.
- Activity
- A record of what changed in your workspace, such as a project renamed or a file archived, which the studio shows you.
- Statements you make
- When a tool asks you to confirm that you have the rights to a video (AI Dubbing does for every dub, and Auto cut for a video given as a link), we record the statement with your account, your email address, the time and the video or link it was about.
- Connected apps
- If you allow an AI assistant or another app to use Muvomi for you, we keep which app you allowed and when.
- Technical records
- Our servers keep short technical records, such as errors and the work they were doing at the time, to keep the service running and to find faults.
3. How we use it
- To run your account and the studio, and to do the work you ask for.
- To count, charge and give back credits, and to keep your plan in step with your subscription.
- To show your files with or without the Free plan's watermark, as your plan says.
- To keep the service safe: to prevent abuse, to limit how quickly paid work can be started, and to look into problems.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We show no advertising, and we do not use your work, your uploads or your prompts to train AI models.
We email you only about your account: to confirm your address and to reset your password. The payment processor may email you receipts and notices about your subscription.
4. AI work: what is sent, and when
Muvomi's tools are built on AI models that specialist providers run. When you start a piece of work, what that work needs is sent to the provider that does it, and the result comes back to your workspace. Nothing is sent to an AI provider while you are only typing or looking, and nothing is sent for work that was not started by you or by an app you allowed to act for you.
- Writing and planning
- For films, shorts, edits, designs, templates and the AI chats: your prompt, the conversation, the words and structure of the project, and what was read from a website you named.
- Pictures
- Pictures you attach as references or products and, when the AI needs to look at your work, frames of your video or a picture of your design.
- AI images and AI video
- Your description, and any picture you give as a first frame or a reference.
- Voiceover and narration
- The words to be spoken, with the voice and the language you chose.
- Music and sound effects
- A description of the film and its timing.
- Captions and transcription
- The sound of your video or recording, so that its words can be written down. Auto cut also sends the words it heard when you ask it to pick the best moments.
- Dictation
- Where your browser can recognise speech itself, dictation is done by the browser, under its own terms. Where it cannot, your recording is sent to be written down, and only the words come back.
- AI Dubbing
- Only the sound of your video, never its picture. The dubbing provider's copy is deleted once the dubbed sound is stored with us.
Audio cleanup (noise, hum, echo and levels) and exports run on the servers that run Muvomi and send nothing to an AI provider.
Providers process what they are sent in order to produce the result. How long a provider keeps it is set by the terms under which we use that provider; where a provider lets us delete our copy, as the dubbing provider does, we do. Please do not put into a prompt or an upload anything you would not want handled this way, such as other people's private details.
5. Who else handles your data
We use a small number of outside services to run Muvomi. Each handles data only to provide its service to us. We name them by what they do:
- Cloud hosting
- The servers that run the website, the studio and exports.
- Database and sign-in
- Your account, signing in, and the records of your work, plan and credits.
- File storage
- Your uploads and the files the tools make.
- AI model providers
- Text, images, video, voice, music, sound effects, transcription and dubbing, as described above.
- Payment processor
- Checkout, subscriptions, receipts and your card details.
- The messages that confirm your address and reset your password.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect people or the service, or if Muvomi is sold or reorganised, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
7. Connected apps
You can let an AI assistant or another app that supports MCP use Muvomi for you. The app sends you to Muvomi to sign in and asks for your permission. Once you allow it, it can make and render films in your account, which uses your credits, and it receives the results it asks for. What the app does with them is governed by that app's own terms.
You can disconnect an app at any time under AI apps on your account page.
8. How long we keep it
- Your account, your work and your files: for as long as your account is open, or until you remove them or ask us to.
- Your credit history: with your account, so that every number can be checked. It is removed when your account is deleted.
- Statements you made about a video: for as long as your account is open, even after the video itself is removed, as the record of what you confirmed.
- Technical records: only as long as they are useful for running the service and finding faults.
- Payment records: the payment processor keeps its own records of payments for as long as the law requires.
When an account is deleted, we may keep a limited record where the law requires it, or where we need it to deal with a dispute or a claim.
9. Your choices and rights
- See and download: your work is in the studio, and you can download your files and exports at any time.
- Correct: change your work in the studio, or write to us about anything else we hold.
- Remove: you can archive items in your library, and remove videos from Auto cut, dubs from AI Dubbing and fonts you uploaded.
- Disconnect: you can disconnect a connected app from your account page, and sign out at any time.
There is not yet a button to delete your whole account. To delete your account and everything stored with it, write to support@muvomi.com from the email address of the account, and we will confirm when it is done. Cancel any paid plan under Manage billing first, so that you are not charged again.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your personal information: to ask what we hold, to receive a copy in a portable form, to object to or restrict some uses of it, or to complain to your data protection authority. Write to support@muvomi.com and we will help. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
10. Security
Your account is protected by your password and our sign-in service. Your files are kept in private storage that only your account can reach, the database lets each account read only its own records, and every connection to Muvomi is encrypted. Payments go through the payment processor's own checkout.
No system is perfectly secure. Use a strong password that you use nowhere else, and tell us at support@muvomi.com if you think someone else has used your account.
11. Where your data is processed
Muvomi's servers and many of the services it uses are in the United States and in other countries, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in, where the law may protect it differently. We handle it as this policy says wherever it is processed.
12. Children
Muvomi is not for children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or 16 where the law where you live requires it, or older if your local law sets a higher age. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to support@muvomi.com and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site and, where it is appropriate, tell account holders by email or in the studio before it applies.
14. Contact
For questions, requests or complaints about your data, write to support@muvomi.com. Please write from the email address of your account, so that we can tell the request is yours.
