In short
- By creating an account or using Muvomi, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
- Plans give credits each month. Unused credits do not carry over, and work that fails or is cancelled gives its credits back.
- Paid plans renew every month until you cancel under Manage billing; you keep the plan until the end of the month you paid for.
- On the Free plan, exports and the pictures and videos you open or download carry a Muvomi watermark.
- What you make is yours, as long as you had the right to use what you put in.
- Do not use Muvomi to break the law, to infringe other people's rights, or to copy anyone's voice or likeness without their consent.
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions (“terms”) apply to muvomi.com and the Muvomi studio: its tools, templates, the public site and the connection for AI apps (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
In these terms, “Muvomi”, “we” and “us” mean the service and the people who run it, and “you” means the person using it. If you use Muvomi for a business or another organisation, you agree to these terms for it and confirm that you may do so.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Muvomi, or 16 where the law where you live requires it, or older if your local law sets a higher age. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need the permission of a parent or guardian.
- Use an email address that is yours and that you can receive mail at, and keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account, including work started by an app you connected to it.
- If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and tell us at support@muvomi.com.
3. Plans and credits
Muvomi has a Free plan and paid monthly plans. The plans, their prices, the credits each gives and what each tool costs in credits are on the pricing page.
- Credits pay for what the AI makes. The studio shows what a piece of work costs before it starts, and nothing starts or is charged if you do not have enough credits.
- Each plan gives its credits at the start of each month: for the Free plan, the calendar month (in UTC); for a paid plan, its billing month. Unused credits do not carry over: they end when the month ends.
- Anything that fails or that you cancel gives its credits back. Exporting is free.
- Moving to a bigger plan tops your credits up to its amount at once. Moving to a smaller plan applies from your next month.
- Credits are not money. They come only with a plan, and cannot be bought on their own, transferred, sold or exchanged for cash.
We may change the plans, their prices, the credits they give and what things cost in credits. The studio always shows the price before work starts. If we change the price of a paid plan, we will tell you before the new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.
4. Payments, renewal and cancelling
- Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance and in US dollars, through our payment processor. Any tax that applies where you live may be added at checkout, and the payment processor's own terms also apply to your payment.
- A subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel it.
- You can cancel at any time under Manage billing on your account page. When you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the month you have paid for, and then your account moves to the Free plan.
- If a subscription stops at once (for example, because a payment failed or was refunded), your account moves to the Free plan straight away and the rest of that month's credits end with it. You can subscribe again at any time.
- Your work stays in your workspace when you change plans or move to the Free plan.
Payments are handled by our payment processor. Apart from refunds the law requires, payments are not refundable, but we may give a refund at our discretion: write to support@muvomi.com.
5. The Free plan's watermark
On the Free plan, exports carry a small “Made with Muvomi” badge, and the pictures and videos you open or download from the studio are marked in the same way. Paid plans have no watermark: after you upgrade, your files show without it within about a minute, and exports made on a paid plan stay clean if you later move back to the Free plan. Please do not remove or hide the watermark from Free plan files.
6. Your content
You keep the rights you have in what you upload to Muvomi or type into it (“your content”): videos, pictures, sound, fonts, words, the websites you name and so on.
You give Muvomi permission to store, copy, process, adapt and show your content, and to send it to the services described in our Privacy Policy, only as far as needed to run the service for you and to do the work you ask for.
You confirm that you have every right and permission your content needs: for example, a licence for a font you upload, the permission of the people who appear or speak in a video, and the right to use a video you give us as a link. Some tools ask you to confirm this before they start, and we keep a record of what you confirmed.
7. What you make
As between you and Muvomi, what you make with the service (your films, edits, designs, pictures, voices and other results) is yours, as far as the law gives rights in it, and subject to other people's rights in what you put in. Muvomi claims no ownership of it.
AI results are made by models. They can be wrong, they can resemble other people's work, and in some countries they may not be protected by copyright. Someone else may get a similar result from a similar request. Check what you make before you publish it or rely on it, especially facts, names, translations, captions and claims about products.
The templates, sample artwork, caption styles, typefaces, music and sound that come with Muvomi remain ours or our licensors'. You may use them as part of what you make with Muvomi, but not offer them on their own, for example by reselling or sharing a template, a typeface or a sound as it is.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use Muvomi to:
- break any law, or help anyone else to;
- make, upload or share sexual content involving anyone under 18, sexual content of a real person without their consent, or content that threatens, harasses or promotes violence or hatred against people;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights, including by uploading or linking videos, music, fonts or pictures you have no right to use;
- impersonate a person or an organisation, make anyone's voice, face or likeness say or do things without their consent, or present AI-made content as real in order to deceive people, such as for fraud, fake endorsements or political deception;
- make spam, malware or phishing, or collect other people's personal information without a lawful reason;
- get around credits, plan limits or the watermark, open more than one Free account to get more credits, or share or sell access to an account;
- interfere with the service: overload it, probe or break its security, or reach the studio or its tools by automated means other than the connection for AI apps that we offer.
We may refuse, stop or remove work that we believe breaks these rules, and some tools refuse such requests by themselves.
9. Voices, likenesses and dubbing
Voiceover, AI Shorts, AI Dubbing and other tools make speech, voices and people on screen. You may voice, dub or show a real, identifiable person only with their permission.
AI Dubbing makes voices close to those of the people who speak in your video. Before a dub starts, you confirm that you own the video or have the rights to dub it, and that the people who speak in it may be dubbed. Auto cut asks you to confirm that you have the rights to use a video before it fetches one from a link.
10. Websites and videos from elsewhere
Some tools read a website you name, or fetch a video from a link you give (for example, a YouTube video for Auto cut or AI Dubbing). Use them only for websites and videos you have the right to use in this way, and follow the terms of the site that hosts them. We are not responsible for what other sites contain.
11. The service
We work to keep Muvomi running and useful, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that any result will suit your purpose. Tools, models, templates and prices may change, and a tool may be paused or retired.
Some tools depend on outside AI providers. When a provider is unavailable, the tool that uses it may be too; work that fails gives its credits back.
Keep your own copies of anything important: download your exports and files.
12. Suspending and closing accounts
You can stop using Muvomi at any time. To close your account, cancel any paid plan under Manage billing, then write to support@muvomi.com and we will delete your account and its data as our Privacy Policy describes.
We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if it breaks these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect people or the service. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you the chance to put things right or to download your work. Unused credits end when an account is closed.
13. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, the law where you live may give you rights that these terms cannot change.
As far as the law allows, Muvomi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, revenue, data or opportunities; for loss caused by content you uploaded or by results you chose to publish; or for events beyond our reasonable control.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims about the service is limited to the amount you paid Muvomi in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You are responsible for your content and for how you use what you make. If someone makes a claim against Muvomi because of your content or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, as far as the law allows.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes, and the date at the top of this page says when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site and, where it is appropriate, tell account holders by email or in the studio before it applies. If you keep using Muvomi after a change applies, the new terms apply to you; if you do not agree with them, stop using the service and ask us to close your account.
15. General
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else; we may transfer them if Muvomi is sold or reorganised.
16. Contact
Write to support@muvomi.com with any question about these terms, your account or your plan.
