In short
- The only cookie we set ourselves keeps you signed in to the studio.
- The website and the studio load an analytics service that sets its own cookies to count visits. The website also loads a service that records how its pages are used, with typed text hidden, and a tag manager that loads them.
- We use no advertising cookies and no advertising tracking.
- Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them. The first time you visit, a notice asks you, and you can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
- You can also block cookies in your browser. The website and the studio work the same without the analytics cookies.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. Browser storage is similar: it keeps small amounts of information on your device. Both let a site remember something between one page and the next.
2. The sign-in cookie
The studio sets one cookie of its own: the sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. The studio cannot work without it, so there is no setting to turn it off. Signing out removes it.
The public pages read it in your browser only to leave out “Sign in” when you are signed in.
3. Analytics cookies
The website (muvomi.com) and the studio (studio.muvomi.com) load our analytics service, which sets its own cookies to tell one visit from the next and to count visits: which pages and screens are opened, how people arrive and which device and browser they use.
The website also loads a service that records how its pages are used (where people click, tap and scroll) as heatmaps and replays. It hides sensitive content such as typed text by default, it is used only on the website, and it sets its own cookies too. These services are loaded through a tag manager.
4. Browser storage
The studio keeps a few things in your browser's own storage, on your device only: drafts of what you were typing, the options you chose in a tool, uploads and work still in progress, your appearance choice and whether the sidebar is open. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.
5. Fonts and code from other sites
When you preview some AI motion pieces, your browser may load typefaces or animation code from public font and code libraries, which see your network address as any website does.
6. No advertising
We show no advertising and set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Wherever you live
This policy applies to everyone who uses Muvomi, in every country. The sign-in cookie is strictly necessary, so it is set without asking. Analytics cookies are not: a notice on your first visit asks whether you accept them, and until you say yes, none are set. Your choice is kept in your browser, on this site only, and you can change it at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
8. Your choices
- Change your choice any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer: accept or refuse analytics cookies.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie signs you out and stops the studio from working.
- Use a browser add-on that blocks analytics. The website and the studio work the same without the analytics services.
- Clear this site's data in your browser to remove what the studio stored on your device.
Every policy is listed on the Legal page, and how we protect your data is on the Security and Trust page.
