FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Korean dubbing, questions answered. Last updated .

Can I dub an English video into Korean?

Yes. Paste its YouTube link or upload the file, choose Korean as the language to dub into and press Dub video. Every line is said again in Korean, each speaker in a voice close to their own, and the music and sound under the speech stay as they were.

Can a Japanese video be dubbed into Korean?

Yes. The spoken language can be any of the 92 on the list: it is found by listening, or you choose it. Japanese to Korean works the same way as English to Korean.

Can I dub a Korean video into another language?

Yes. Korean is heard as well as spoken: a video in Korean can be dubbed into English, Hindi or any other of the 92 languages.

Does the Korean dub keep each speaker's voice?

Each speaker is given a new Korean voice close to their own, so two people talking still sound like two different people. It is not their own voice.

How much does Korean dubbing cost?

600 credits for every minute of video started: a 90-second video is 1,200 credits, a 10-minute one 6,000 credits. Your first dub, of up to 30 seconds, is free. The price shows before you press Dub video, and a paid dub that fails or is cancelled gives its credits back.

Does the Korean dub come with subtitles?

Yes, in Korean, as SRT or VTT, or as captions in the video editor at no extra cost. For Korean captions written other ways (in Latin letters, or translated), see Korean captions.

What does Korean dubbing not do?

It does not move anyone's lips, and the new lines cannot be read or changed before they are voiced. A dub is one language: dub the video again for another.
