17 secondsRill — A reel of posters
A studio's creed, said in short captions over a reel of posters.
Typography3D motion
A narrated essay on one still, warm set.
Typography
An emblem on a flat disc rides in as if on a big slow wheel, a short serif line is written a word at a time as the voice says it, one word lands large in capitals, and the whole thought rides out while the next rides in from another corner: a portrait under a swinging sign, a seal, timeline blocks with a playhead that scrubs back, a hairline arc with labelled chips stepping up it, a ring rolling in round the thought, an audience, the mark.
Ten beats in twenty-one seconds, and two longer cuts that add seven ideas of their own (a counting dial, a balance, a line that breathes, one frame chosen from five, what you make, your reel, an invitation). Every word, sign, picture and colour is yours to change.
Typography films are led by type: large letters, short lines and a strong rhythm. The library lists 25 under typography.
